2011 Firework event
The team behind many of the areas best loved community
events, are back for a charity fundraising fireworks spectacular on
Sunday6th November. Permission has been granted by
the Burbage parish council for the annual event to return to its
Britannia fields, Burbage location.
For the first time FREE glowsticks will be given out, to
the first 1000 people, plus a great Fun Fair, three large
professional firework sets, bonfire and a great "best guy"
competition which is open to adults and children.
Darren Alexander, 56,from Hinckley said "Burbage always
puts on great events , last years event was the best fireworks
display they ever run which raise a lot of money for local
charities".
The event has a dedicated website www.burbagefireworks.co.uk
, thanks to local website company Red Morello www.redmorello.com who
contacted the fundraising team to offer their services for free to
support the good causes the event supports. The group chairman
Harvey Brown said "we are extremely greateful to Red Morello, for
their free design and free hosting of our new website. We hope that
buying tickets for the event will now be easier than ever for
people who will be able to skip past the queues to enjoy the fun by
pre-booking."
